ABOUT ME

Background

Before training as a counsellor, I worked as an educational practitioner in an acute adolescent mental health unit, and as a support worker in pupil referral units across London.

I grew up in a family steeped in the music industry and have been surrounded by musicians and people who work in the music industry my whole life.

As a counsellor I have worked in the NHS as part of the IAPT service, a substance misuse centre and at a secondary school in north London. I have worked privately since 2018, and offer a specialist service for those who work in the music industry.

I have the benefit of undertaking counselling from both sides - as a counsellor and a client and have experienced the transformational possibilities this relationship can have.

I feel my experiences have given me a real insight into life, and have helped me in my efforts to be an authentic individual, and strong in my position as a counsellor.

I pride myself in being of mixed heritage and having grown up in London, and always work with awareness of and respect for diversity.
