ABOUT ME

Anchor 1
Background

I grew up in a family steeped in the music industry and have been surrounded by musicians and people who work in the music industry my whole life. I love the arts and have sang professionally, worked as a performer, and have a degree in arts and cultural management.

Before training as a counsellor, I worked as an educational practitioner in an acute adolescent mental health unit, and as a support worker in pupil referral units across London.

As a counsellor I have worked in the NHS as part of the IAPT service, a substance misuse centre and at a secondary school in north London. I have worked privately since 2018, and offer a specialist service for those who work in the music, acting and creative industries.

I have the benefit of undertaking counselling from both sides - as a counsellor and a client and have experienced first hand the transformational possibilities this relationship can have.

I pride myself in being of mixed heritage, and always work with awareness of and respect for diversity.
